Sheriff Richard Reigenborn Sheriff Reigenborn was sworn into office on January 8, 2019. He received the Medal of Valor and is a two-time recipient of the Medal of Distinguished Service award. He was also recognized for his service at Columbine in 1999. Sheriff Reigenborn’s focus is delivering safety, security, and transparency to Adams County citizens. |

Undersheriff Paul Gregory Undersheriff Gregory started his career with the Adams County Sheriff's Office in 2001. He is a graduate of the Northwestern University School for Police Staff & Command. Undersheriff Gregory is committed to the safety of all Adams County residents and the prosperity of all Sheriff's Office employees. The goal of the Undersheriff is to carry out the mission of the Sheriff. |

Professional Standards Division Chief Bill Dunning Division Chief Dunning has 14 year of experience in law enforcement, all in Adams County. In addition, Division Chief Dunning has over 20 year of executive leadership experience and has dedicated most of his life to public service. Division Chief Dunning is a strong proponent of fairness, integrity, and transparency in his service to the citizens of Adams County. |

Patrol Division Chief John Bitterman Division Chief Bitterman became an Adams County Sheriff's Explorer at the age of 15. Division Chief Bitterman has 25 years of certified experience serving in several units to include Patrol, Investigations, SWAT, and Narcotics. Chief Bitterman is a graduate of Northwestern University School for Police Staff & Command. Chief Bitterman's primary goal is to reduce crime and respond to repetitive events through evidence base proactive policing. |

Jail Division Chief Chris Laws Division Chief Chris Laws started his career with the Adams County Sheriff's Office in 1992. He is a graduate of the Northwestern University School for Police Staff & Command. Division Chief Chris Laws is dedicated to providing a safe and humane environment for persons incarcerated at the Adams County Detention Facility and the Adams County Courthouse. Jail personnel manage the movement, behavior and transportation of inmates. |
