VIN inspections are by appointment only, available Tuesday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Important VIN Inspection Requirements

• No trailers, commercial vehicles, or recreational vehicles are accepted at this time. Only passenger cars and trucks are allowed.

• The vehicle must arrive under its own power.
- The vehicle must be roadworthy. All of the following must function properly and not be broken:
- Public VIN easily readable
- Windshield, mirrors
- ABS & Airbag dashboard lights
- Horn, front and back wipers
- Headlights, high beams, turn signals, brake lights (right, left, and top)
- White light above rear license plate
- Tires are DOT with good tread
- All parts must be permanently attached by welding, brackets, or bolts – NO ZIP TIES
- Seats permanently attached
- No torn or jagged metal

• VIN appointments may be booked up to 8 weeks in advance.

• Bring all ownership documents, including the title, bill of sale, power of attorney (if applicable), and a valid driver’s license.

• Rebuilt from Salvage:
- Complete form DR2424 before your appointment.
- List all parts and repairs.
- Bring receipts for all major components. Vehicles without receipts will not pass inspection.
- Ensure the “Rebuilt from Salvage” stamp is already applied to the vehicle.
